A new paper on AV health quantification is out. This paper, published by the Journal of Transport and Health proposes a conceptual framework for quantifying AV health and equity impacts through the changes in motor vehicle crashes and air pollution. Link

Soheil's paper entitled "Is Automated Driving Safer? An Application of Survival Analysis in Automated Vehicle Safety Evaluation" received a student paper award from ASA TSIG. This paper will be presented at JSM 2021, August 8th at 10 AM.
